The gong bath

A Gong Bath in the Sound Ocean Gong Chamber is an immersive experience that features Symphonic Planet and elemental Gongs, Crystal and Bronze singing bowls, along with other instruments – and helps to facilitate deep relaxation and meditation. Our fixation on our mental states, which often produces worry and conflict is loosened so that we can experience more of our natural states of harmony and peace.

Lay back and float in an ocean of peaceful sound allowing the waves of gentle vibrations and source harmonics to wash over you. Let go and relax in the warm, candlelit glow of the Golden Gongs. Sound Ocean have a wonderful collection of gongs and other instruments that have been chosen with great care and brought together over the last five years (pictured to the right).

The gongs are tuned to be in harmony with celestial bodies and the elements. The Sun, Earth and Moon Gongs represent our cosmic origins and the Solar Flare and Wind Gongs ground us on our Earthly home. Sadja, the "Father of All" (in the centre) radiates the eternal "Om" enabling our heart's communication with our heavenly neighbours. Our latest addition, Shemoon- the Divine Feminine gong calls us to connect with the sacred feminine energies of the universe so needed on Earth today.

People typically lay down on yoga mats with a cozy blanket and a pillow and close their eyes. Sitting comfortably is also fine. At Sound Ocean we create a warm and comfortable atmosphere with candlelight and warm colours. And the thick walls of the medieval Gong Chamber ensure a quiet and secure experience away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world.

Gong baths and Sound meditations can have a very positive impact on our wellbeing, bringing us to states of calm, clarity, balance.
